Breastfeeding Anytime, Anywhere

Posted by:

Breastfeeding mothers need to be supported to breastfeed their babies anytime, anywhere. Some women are comfortable breastfeeding in public and others feel more at ease having a quiet spot to breastfeed with more privacy. This may be especially important for a new mother and baby learning to breastfeed. In communities throughout Newfoundland and Labrador where breastfeeding has not been the cultural norm for many years, we need to see more mothers out and about breastfeeding. Making breastfeeding more visible in our communities will help normalize breastfeeding.
