Dr. Erin Smallwood

Dr. Smallwood has made a number of contributions to the breastfeeding community, both as a mother who breastfeeds and in a number of other ways. Some of these include:

  • Co-Chair of the Bay of Islands Organization for Breastfeeding Support (BOOBS)
  • member of the Breastfeeding Action Committee/Western Regional Health Authority
  • helped to organize community events for World Breastfeeding Week at Coleman’s in Corner Brook
  • promotes a baby-friendly environment in her office space
  • helped with the Breastfeeding Research Symposium (Café Scientifique) in 2012
