Physician’s Breastfeeding Toolkit

The Physician’s Breastfeeding Toolkit is designed to assist physicians in providing optimal care and consistent information to breastfeeding families. The toolkit consists of a Quick Reference Guide supported by a detailed Reference Manual.  The toolkit is based on current evidence and reflects global best practice in the care of the breastfeeding mother-baby dyad. Topics include initiating and sustaining breastfeeding, management of common concerns, medication safety, establishing a breastfeeding-friendly practice environment and local and national support resources.
